Another reason eggs are such a popular dish is because you can eat them any time of the day, morning, noon or night. Many people ask… Can you fry an egg in an air fryer? The answer to this is YES.

Here we are going to tell you a method where you will get your perfect desired results every time. Another good thing about frying eggs in an air fryer is that they go well with most other dishes so you can cook a full meal or snack in one go in very little time.

How to Fry an Egg in an Air Fryer

For best results, we recommend using aluminium foil in the air fryer basket, fold the foil sides up and make it into a shallow little pan but big enough to crack your egg into leaving enough room for the air to circulate in the air fryer. You can cook more than one egg at once depending on the size of your air fryer.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs
  • Aluminium Foil
  • Cooking Oil

Method:

  1. Coat the foil with oil (this prevents the eggs from sticking).
  2. Crack your egg (or eggs depending on air fryer size) into the foil pan.
  3. Place basket into the air fryer.
  4. Cook at 390*F for 6 minutes.
  5. Remove from air fryer & serve.

We found this method to be the best because the eggs turn out perfect with a nice and runny yellow yolk, if you prefer your egg yolks not so runny cook for 8 minutes or until done to your preference. Each air fryer is different.
